It is our pleasure to announce that a joint session between the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN) and EAN will be held during the International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN) 2022, September 4-8, 2022, in Geneva, Switzerland. The session, which takes place on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:00-12:00, will include a talk from Pierre-Hervé Luppi (Lyon, France) on Sleep-Wake Neurophysiology, EAN Past President, Claudio L. Bassetti (Bern, Switzerland) on Narcolepsy and its Borderland, and Ambra Stefani (Innsbruck, Austria) on Clinical Neurophysiology of REM Parasomnias.
Sleep disorders can have important consequences for patients’ health and quality of life. Differential diagnosis and therapy of sleep disorders continues to be a fascinating and challenging area on the background of the interplay of brainstem, thalamus and cortex. This symposium will explore the recent advances in the diagnosis of key sleep disorders and the role of neurophysiological investigations.
