The European Academy of Neurology (EAN), in collaboration with the Turkish Neurological Society – Neuroimmunology Working Group, invites neurologists and trainees to participate in the upcoming Regional Teaching Course (RTC) taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 3–5 September 2026.
Hosted at Istanbul University, Beyazıt Campus, this three-day educational course will provide an in-depth overview of biomarkers in neuroimmunological disorders, with a strong focus on their integration into clinical practice.
The scientific programme will address three major areas of contemporary neuroimmunology:
- Biomarkers in multiple sclerosis: clinical–laboratory integration and advanced neuroimaging approaches
- Biomarkers in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD): diagnostic antibody testing, prognostic markers, and therapeutic implications
- Biomarkers and autoantibody profiles in autoimmune and paraneoplastic encephalitis
The course will combine expert lectures delivered by leading international faculty with interactive case-based workshops, enabling participants to discuss real clinical scenarios and develop practical skills in the interpretation of laboratory and imaging biomarkers.
The RTC is primarily designed for neurology residents, early-career neurologists, and practicing neurologists with an interest in neuroimmunology, particularly those seeking structured, clinically oriented education in this rapidly evolving field.
Participants from Türkiye, neighbouring countries, and across Europe are warmly invited to attend.
Further information regarding the programme, faculty, and registration details will be announced soon on the EAN website.
