The 17th District of Vienna recently hosted two special events on the theme of brain health: the District Health and Social Fair (Bezirkgesundheits- und Sozial Messe) on 6 September, and the Brain Health Day (Kopfgesund Aktionstag) on 10 October. The EAN was invited to both events to share information about the Brain Health Mission, via a stand at the health fair and a talk at the brain health day.
Our stand at the health fair was a great opportunity to engage with the Viennese public and spread the message of the Brain Health Mission in the hometown of the EAN Head Office. EAN staff were on hand to explain the mission to interested visitors and answer their questions about brain health in general.
At the brain health day, EAN executive director Anja Sander spoke about the initiative and highlighted the most important steps on the way towards a healthy brain and nervous system. Participants were interested in how to prevent neurological conditions, what to do on a daily basis, and where to receive further information to invest into the future of their own brain health.
