December 3, 2019On November 14-15 2019, the Advanced Deep Brain Stimulation for Movement Disorders course of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society was organized in the Haga Teaching Hospital in The Hague (The Netherlands). Movement disorder neurologists, functional neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, and trainees from all over the world came to visit the political capital of the Netherlands. -

December 1, 2019The Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) has organized a workshop "Health data standardisation workshop: looking at the implementation of ICD-11 and ICF" on November 6th 2019. More than 60 scientific experts, decisions makers and patients' representatives gathered at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Union in Brussels. -

Italian Neurological Society celebrates its 50th congress in Bologna
November 6, 2019On October 12-15, the Italian society of neurology (SIN, Società Italiana di Neurologia) celebrated its 50th congress in Bologna. Bologna has the oldest Italian University, founded in 1088, and is the town of many outstanding Italian neuroscientists. Moreover, Bologna has been the nest of some of the major European schools in the field of epilepsy and sleep medicine. -

92nd Congress of the German Neurological Society
November 5, 2019Between the 25th and 28th of September 2019, the German Neurological Society (deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurologie – DGN) held its annual congress at the International Congresscenter in Stuttgart, Germany. As one of the largest neurological gatherings in Europe it was attended by approximately 5,500 health professionals associated with Neurology.
