Happy New Year 2021 from the EAN, the Home of Neurology

Speakers discussed sex differences in patients with neurological disorders and how they impact clinical outcomes on the third day of EAN 2024, the 10th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) that is still unfolding in Helsinki, Finland.

A quartet of esteemed Named Lecturers delved into some fascinating areas of neurology with powerful metaphors linking neuroscience to history and the celestial vault during the Presidential Symposium on the second day of EAN 2024.

Symposium 2 at EAN 2024 took place in a packed room on the morning of the first day of the congress, showing the growing and active interest in the field of movement disorders and particularly Parkinson’s disease.

The popular Basal Ganglia Club reconvened again at EAN 2024 in Helsinki, featuring the Dystonia Europe David Marsden Award Lecture, the European Alliance for Restless Legs Syndrome Award lecture, and a selection of rare and challenging case presentations.

The first symposium of EAN 2024, chaired by Prof. Marte Bjork, took place in the main auditorium on Saturday, 29 June, focusing on the effects of antiseizure medications on individuals of reproductive age.
