In our Presidents' letter of November 2013 we concluded that academic general neurology should have a future. Among the main reasons for this statement we listed the care of patients, the education of students and residents, the growing evidence for an intricate and unsuspected relationship between many diseases of the nervous system, each today still „belonging“ to separate subspecialties.

For a period of 6 months, supported by the EFNS educational fellowship, I spent an amazing and enriching period of my life at the Child Neurology Department, Hospital San Joan De Deu, Barcelona, Spain, with Dr. A. Garcia Cazorla’s research team.

We are happy to inform that a list of the Symposia, Teaching Courses, Focused Workshops, Interactive Sessions, Hands-on Courses and Special Sessions that are scheduled for the 1st EAN Congress in Berlin, Germany - 20-23 June 2015 - is online now.
