Prophylactic antibiotics after acute stroke for reducing pneumonia in patients with dysphagia (STROKE-INF): a prospective, cluster-randomised, open-label, masked endpoint, controlled trial. Lancet Neurology 2015; September 4. Dysphagia is common after a stroke, and associated with an increased risk of pneumonia and mortality. However, the use of antibiotics to prevent post-stroke pneumonia has been controversial. -

Report on the Annual Congress of the National Neurological Society of Moldova
November 1, 2015On October 1-3, 2015 the 5th Congress of Neurologists of the Republic of Moldova took place in Chisinau. The congress was held jointly with the works of the Symposium of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) – Iasi (Romania) at its 14th edition.
