EAN Guideline Production Group is happy to announce the participants for the European guideline education and Cost-Conscious Healthcare (CoCoCare) programme - pilot project aimed at filling the education gap between the importance of medical guidelines for cost-effective healthcare and the fact that this matter is rarely included in medical training programs.

MDS-ES 8th Winter School for Young Neurologists
March 1, 2019MDS-ES 8th Winter School for Young Neurologists at King’s College in London Almost 50 young neurologists and neurology residents from all over the world gathered in London from 7-9 February for the 8th Movement Disorder Society (MDS) Winter School for young neurologists. This well-attended and lively event featured two-and-half days of presentations, focused clinical examination rounds, video sessions and debate, driven by plenary sessions and two parallel workshops. -
The Israeli Neurological Association held the first EAN Day in Israel on December 10, a day prior to its Annual Conference. We were honored to host several prominent speakers from the European community of neurologists, who shared their current views with local neurologists in beautiful surroundings and convivial atmosphere. Prof. Philip Scheltens from the Alzheimer Center of VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam discussed recent developments in diagnostics of Alzheimer's disease.

EAN Spring School – Application Deadline is 31 January 2019
January 1, 2019Dedicated to 120 clinical neurologists in training who did not yet complete their residency/ clinical speciality training who wish to boost their knowledge and to get the chance to enable personal contacts among participants and faculty members. Contributions to the optimal organisation of neurological care, neurological services and postgraduate education throughout Europe will be presented. -
The Moroccan Society of Neurology (MSN) was very pleased to organise with the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) the EAN Day on the margins of the Maghrebian Congress of Neurology, held in the beautiful and charming city of Marrakech.

In November 2018, the first EAN Autumn School took place in Loutraki, Greece. A remote destination not too far from Athens airport was chosen to gather 60 Neurologists in Training and 9 faculty members.
