The MDS-ES 2nd Summer School on Neuromodulation for Movement Disorders took place in Würzburg, Germany on September 6-8, 2018. The workshop was excellently directed by Professors Elena Moro and Jens Volkmann, with the collaboration of faculties of different countries, particularly from the Würzburg University. The course was held in a lovely and quiet building, the Burkardushaus Würzburg, in the heart of the city.

A general disappointment was that one of the countries leading much of research in care, epidemiology, clinical and basic research did not even produce a Dementia Plan like the other Scandinavian countries and most other EU countries. -
