It is with great gratitude and pleasure that I report my European Academy of Neurology Research Fellowship at the Clinical Department of Neurology, Medical University of Innsbruck. This 8-months experience (March-October 2017), performed under the supervision of Professor Markus Reindl, allowed me to join an excellent research center for the study of antibody-mediated disorders of the Central Nervous System.

DB Gupta Research Fellowship 2016 – Report by Praveen Kumar Sharma
January 9, 2018I completed Dr. DB Gupta/EAN research experience fellowship 2016 in the Epilepsy center (Epilepsihospitalet) Filadelfia, Dianalund, Denmark under Professor Sandor Beniczky. It was my first ever visit to abroad which gave me the learning experience of all the processes apart from successful completion of the project. -
It has been a great honour for me to be awarded with the EAN Research fellowship. The EAN Research Experience Fellowship allowed me to spend more than one year at the Oxford University, in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG). It has been a life changing experience for me.

Thanks to the EAN research fellowship, I have worked for one year in the lab of Prof. Edgar Meinl in Ludwig-Maximillian University Institute of Clinical Neuroimmunology in Munich. It was an invaluable experience for me both academically and socially.

I am very grateful to the EAN research experience fellowship grant for giving me the opportunity to study in The Netherlands. I spent 6 months in the neuro-immunological department of the Erasmus Medical Center of Rotterdam, a modern and renowned institution in clinical and research fields.

It was a great honor for me to be awarded with the EAN Research experience fellowship. I spend the six months at the Epilepsy Center of University Hospital Freiburg, Germany. My project’s title was "EEG-fMRI localization of epileptic activity using advanced analysis techniques (Grouiller-Method)".
