The European Academy of Neurology (EAN), together with the Brain Health Mission, is excited to announce the launch of the Public Brain Health Day, taking place on Monday, 23 June 2025, during the 11th EAN Congress in Helsinki, Finland, from 17:00 to 19:30 EEST.
With neurological conditions impacting over 40% of the global population, the event is designed to foster awareness, enhance understanding, and promote open dialogue on critical neurological topics, as well as meet the rising demand for accessible information on brain health. The programme will include a series of panel discussions led by local Finnish and European experts, covering important neurological topics such as headaches, migraines, cognitive impairment, dementia, and movement disorders. Alongside these, practical workshops on music therapy and autogenic training will offer hands-on strategies for improving brain health and overall well-being. All sessions will be available in both Finnish and English, with simultaneous interpretation services to ensure accessibility for all attendees.
Organised in collaboration with patient organisations, NGOs, and community networks, the Public Brain Health Day aims to engage a broad audience. The initiative is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting prevention, and addressing key brain health issues across all age groups and communities; therefore, the event is free and open to everyone—whether you are a healthcare professional, a person living with a neurological condition, or someone with an interest in brain health. Attendees can participate either in person or via an online livestream.
