10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting, 21-23 October 2026, Toronto, Canada
During this congress, a Joint ECTRIMS/EAN session titled Optimizing brain health in MS environmental and lifestyle interventions, motor fitness, and cognitive resilience is scheduled for Saturday, 21 October 2026, at 08:30-09:30(14:30-15:30 CEST).
The session, developed with the active involvement of the EAN Scientific Panel on Multiple Sclerosis, will be chaired by Paolo Preziosa and Lara Pilutti. It will provide an evidence-based overview of lifestyle interventions, physical and cognitive fitness, and rehabilitation approaches aimed at promoting resilience and supporting daily functioning in people with MS.
The session will include the following presentations: Lifestyle and environmental determinants of brain health in MS: what should we target in routine care? By Ron Milo, Co-Chair of the EAN Scientific Panel on Multiple Sclerosis; Aerobic fitness, exercise prescription, and motor rehabilitation in MS by Lara Pilutti; and Preserving and enhancing cognitive function in MS: cognitive rehabilitation and resilience-based interventions by Paolo Preziosa, Co-Chair of the EAN Scientific Panel on Multiple Sclerosis.

39th ECNP Congress, 10-13 October 2026, Munich, Germany
Be sure to participate in the EAN Symposium Rethinking the psychiatric approach in neurology conditions: in case of movement disorders, scheduled for 12 October, at 13:55-14:40.
This time, the ECNP/EAN joint session will bring together and highlight the strengths of both psychiatry and neurology, showcasing the valuable insights that emerge when the two disciplines intersect.
The session, chaired by EAN President Kailash Bhatia, will offer participants a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts at the forefront of both filed. The lectures will include Beyond chorea: psychiatric treatment in Huntington’s disease, by Anna Rita Bentivoglio, and Parkinson’s disease psychosis, by Jaime Kulisevsky.

28th WON Conference in Athens, 6-8 November 2026, Athens, Greece
During this congress, a joint session on Ultrasound application in diagnostic work-up of headache will take place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at 12:00-13:15.
The session will be moderated by Dimos Mitsikostas and will comprise the following lectures: US in the evaluation of intracranial hypertension and hypotension, by Piergiorgio Lochner, Co-Chair of the EAN Panel on Neurosonology; US in the evaluation of FMD & dissection, by Klearchos Psychogios; and Ultrasound applications in giant cell arteritis, by Argyro Tountopoulou; followed by a discussion.
