We are delighted to invite you to take part in the EAN Regional Teaching Day in Riga, Latvia, on 6 November 2025, held in conjunction with the 11th Baltic Congress of Neurology (BALCONE 2025).
This one-day event will focus on key neurological topics including neuromuscular disorders, cerebellar ataxias, and the management of transient ischaemic attacks, along with practical guidance on European research grants and training opportunities for young neurologists. The programme is designed to provide a rich educational experience for residents and early-career neurologists, with engaging presentations by distinguished faculty.
The EAN Teaching Day will feature renowned experts such as Antonio Toscano (Italy), Henry Houlden (United Kingdom), Ana Catarina Fonseca (Portugal), and Jānis Vētra (Latvia), who will share their expertise in both clinical practice and academic development.
Riga, the capital of Latvia, offers a perfect setting for this event. Known for its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture and UNESCO-listed Old Town, Riga combines historical charm with modern vibrancy. We hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy the city’s unique atmosphere alongside the scientific programme.
