We are thrilled to announce that the Certificate in Clinical Research in Neurology (CCRN) will officially launch at the upcoming EAN Congress 2026 in June, with applications opening on 9 December 2025!
Developed to support the next generation of clinical researchers in neurology, the CCRN is a two-year programme designed for individuals in the early stages of a research career, mid-career neurologists, and research fellows (RRFS members). Participants will be equipped with the essential knowledge and practical skills to design, conduct, analyse, and publish high-quality clinical research.
Throughout the programme, participants will benefit from expert-led workshops, virtual hands-on working group sessions and online courses, and will be exposed to real-world research challenges in the field of neurology.
What to expect from the CCRN?
- Participation free of charge for RRFS, Full and Corresponding Individual Members from the WHO European region
- In-person kick-off workshop at the EAN Congress 2026 in Geneva, offering an interactive start to the research journey
- Combination of online courses, hands-on working group sessions, and a second in-person workshop at the EAN Congress 2027 in Gothenburg, all tailored to reinforce research skills and foster long-term academic development
- Certificate ceremony at EAN Congress 2028 in Rotterdam
Please visit our CCRN website to find out more about the programme and the application process. Applications will open this month in December 2025, and applicants will be notified of their acceptance by March 2026. We are looking forward to starting this new project with all of you!
