We are pleased to share our new Sustainability Report, highlighting the steps the EAN is taking to support responsible and inclusive practices. From the EAN NEURO-DEI Hub to the EAN Sustainability and Brain Health Booth, and the fact that over two-thirds of attendees used public transport at our last congress in Helsinki, the report shows how sustainability is integrated into many parts of our work. Besides these examples, there is much more to discover.
Sustainability is an ongoing effort. We continue to review and improve our practices, and to strengthen our responsibility in all EAN activities. It is about small changes that add up, and larger steps that move us forward together. Every event, every project, and every initiative is an opportunity to act more sustainably.
We could not achieve this level of impact without the engagement of our participants and members. Every small action contributes to a more sustainable EAN. We invite you to further support this at EAN events. Actions such as bringing a reusable bottle for water refills, choosing train travel over flights when possible, or using public transportation to reach our venues, make a difference.
Looking ahead, we aim to keep expanding our sustainability efforts and exploring new ways to act responsibly. The full report goes into detail on all our initiatives. Click the cover above to read and download the full report.
We also welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas at sustainability@ean.org. Sharing your experiences and feedback helps us learn and improve, and strengthens our community’s commitment to sustainability.
