The eanCampus continues to evolve, bringing learners an even more intuitive, structured, and engaging educational experience. With our latest updates, we are making it easier than ever to discover relevant content, track your progress, and explore new areas of neurology. Below, you’ll find an overview of the newest features and terminology refinements designed to support your learning journey and help you get the most out of the platform.
ETRN Search
We are thrilled to announce a new search feature on the eanCampus: the ability to search for content based on applicable ETRN sub-topics. The ETRN (European Training Requirements for Neurology) has been developed in collaboration with the UEMS-SN (European Union of Medical Specialists-Section of Neurologists) in order to emphasise essential knowledge for general neurologists as well as assist in preparation for the European Board of Neurology Examination (EBN exam).
All content on the eanCampus has been mapped to the ETRN curriculum, and is now searchable through an exclusive search function, which can be found in the menu of the eanCampus alongside topic and full learning catalogue searches.
Favourites
To further assist you in accessing exactly what you need out of the large amount of content on the eanCampus, we have updated our bookmarks feature. Learners will now be able to bookmark interesting content directly from the Learning Catalogue search, as well as on the page of the individual content. All bookmarks can now be found in a comprehensive list which can be accessed on the top menu by clicking the bookmark flag next to your notifications and ranking icons.
Learning History
A summary of everything you have accessed and completed on the eanCampus has always been available, however we have made this more accessible by including it in your User Profile.
Learners can view a list of accessed and completed content, as well as export a PDF of this list for continuing education purposes.
New topics
To further expand our range of content on the eanCampus, we have added two new topics: Functional Neurological Disorders and General Neurology. Learners can now search for content in these topics and collect points to unlock a Capstone Exam!
Terminology changes
Several terminology changes have been implemented to make your use of the eanCampus even easier. Now, all Basic level content is tagged as ‘Fundamentals’, which contains content aimed mainly at general neurologists wanting to refresh or update their basic knowledge in the field, and potentially for residents in training.
Additionally, we have updated our Basic Courses to reflect this change in terminology. Serving as the introductory content for the topics on the eanCamupus, these courses are now named ‘Foundational Courses’. There is currently a selection of six courses online, and we look forward to adding additional content in the coming months.
Finally, to further clarify what kind of content is available on the eanCampus, we have updated the name ‘Webcasts’, which is now referred to as ‘Recordings’. In addition to the update to this name, we have added three new sub-categories to help you navigate the large number of videos on our platform. Recordings from previous EAN Congresses will be labelled ‘Congress Recordings’, videos from webinars are now filterable as ‘Webinar Recordings’, and all other content will be filtered under ‘Other recordings’.
These improvements reflect our commitment to providing a clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly learning environment for all neurologists and trainees. We hope the new features and expanded content inspire you to explore even more of what the eanCampus has to offer.
