The EAN 2026 Opening Session took place in the Main Auditorium of the Palexpo, Geneva, on Saturday night, with the whole show streamed live on the EAN Congress website.
EAN President, Elena Moro, officially launched the congress with an enthusiastic welcome and a close look at the current state of the EAN and its many projects, aided by Residents & Research Fellows Section Chair, Alicia Gonzalez Martinez, before Programme Committee Chair, Irena Rektorová introduced this year’s Brain Prize Lecture, delivered by The Brain Prize 2025 winner Frank Winkler on Neural influences on brain tumor growth and therapy resistance.
