We are happy to announce a successful kick-off of the second round of the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Brain Health, created and conducted by the University of Bern and supported by EAN Scholarships.
For 2026, 42 Students have enrolled from 20 countries: Australia, Austria, Benin, Cameroon, Croatia, Denmark, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Lebanon, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, and Türkiye.
The CAS in Brain Health focuses on equipping professionals with advanced skills in promoting brain health and aims to address neurological challenges through preventive strategies, enhancing expertise in healthcare sectors. Participation also offers the chance to gain a total of 15 ECTS credits. This educational programme represents a significant advancement in medical education, aligning with current global health strategies, the Brain Health Mission, and the needs of an aging population.
The programme offers four modules which aim to improve the knowledge and skills required to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients across the globe.

- Brain disorders
- Risk factors, protective factors and interventions
- Brain Health implementation
