We are excited to bring back our very popular quiz show to the EAN Congress 2026 in Geneva – get ready for the 9th edition of the EAN BrainChallenge, an entertaining and challenging competition for participants onsite and online alike. Come by and be part of it!
With the help of the EAN Scientific Panels, the BrainChallenge Task Force has selected 12 new educational and entertaining cases. Two teams will compete on stage of the Main Auditorium – Team International vs. Team Switzerland – with both teams consisting of junior and senior neurologists, trying to find the correct answers to the case presentations first. The audience can also participate and test their knowledge by voting via the virtual congress platform, regardless of their experience level.
You will be guided through complex and rare conditions in this interactive learning opportunity by our amazing hosts: Rolf Fronczek, neurologist from Leiden, The Netherlands, Adolfo Mazzeo, resident in Neurology from Rome, Italy and Conny Lee, our professional congress moderator.
The cases will showcase the broad and exciting spectrum of neurological diseases. The contestants will demonstrate how a prompt and accurate diagnosis can be made in a challenging environment.
