After a successful first edition of the postgraduate course in neuroscience and brain health at Ghent University (Belgium), we are happy to announce that application for the next academic year (2026-2027) is now open.
The social relevance of a neuroscience education is clear. In 2021, 43% of the population was affected by a neurological disorder. The programme’s ultimate aim is to equip the next generation of brain health ambassadors with the knowledge and skills to communicate the importance of brain health in a clear, evidence-based, and impactful way. This unique programme offers an in-depth exploration of the healthy and diseased brain, brain health and its determinants, neuromodulation technologies, research methods in neuroscience, and the latest innovations and applications in the field. The programme welcomes applicants with a broad spectrum of educational backgrounds, is held fully in-person in Belgium and pre-selects a small cohort of highly motivated students, creating a highly interactive environment. The topics are taught by internationally renowned experts in the field, creating a unique opportunity to expand your network.
