We are extremely proud to announce that the EAN Congress has been named Best Corporate Event Subject to a Fee for the second consecutive year at the Evento Awards, a Finnish event industry award that recognises the best events, venues, speakers, creators and companies in Finland. The 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology was held at the Messukeskus, Helsinki, on 21-24 June 2025, coinciding with Midsummer, a major holiday in Finland.
The Evento Awards website had this to say about our event:
“EAN 2025 returned to the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre after the success of 2024, but the situation was risky: it was feared that the number of participants would decrease when the date fell on Midsummer and international sponsors doubted the availability of services in the city. In addition, a successful and fresh customer experience had to be created for the participants. Through cooperation, the congress achieved excellent results in terms of finances, the number of participants, customer experience and its programme.”
EAN Congress Operations Manager, Florian Wild, attended the award ceremony in Helsinki on 10 April, to collect the prize on behalf of the EAN along with partners from the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

This year, our now double-award-winning event moves to Geneva. Find out more about the 12th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology at 12th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology – Geneva 2026 – ean.org or just head straight to registration: Registration – ean.org
