We are happy to announce the winner of the 2016 DB Gupta Fellowship

It has been a great honor for me to be awarded with the EAN scientific fellowship 2015. Thanks to the EAN, I had the chance to spend one year at the Sobell Department of Motor Neuroscience and Movement Disorders of the University College of London and to join the Movement Disorders Clinic under the supervision of Professor Kailash Bhatia.

In 2014 I was honored to be awarded with the scientific fellowship in the Department of neuromuscular disorders, University Medical Center, Utrecht, the Netherlands, supervised by Prof. Hessel Franssen.

This year the EAN Spring School will take place from May 12th to May 15th, 2016 at the Hotel Bezděz in Staré Splavy, Czech Republic.

Thanks to the support from the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) I was able to spend a research fellowship at the Stroke Research division, Institutes of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences (University of Glasgow, United Kingdom), in the research group led by Professor Kennedy R. Lees.

I was fortunate to receive a Fellowship from European Academy of Neurology in order to spend 6 months of my education at the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre (JWMDRC), Institute of Genetic Medicine, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. This education was conducted in cooperation with the departments of neurology and clinical neurophysiology, Newcastle University and Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust.
